Curve Leicester’s new state-of-the-art theatre. Designed by world renowned architect, Rafael Viñoly, Curve features an auditorium with up to 800 seats, a versatile studio with up to 400 seats, two seminar rooms and a stage that can be revealed to the street outside. The magnificent open plan foyer contains a café and bar. Rehearsal rooms, dance studio and workshop areas are also visible from the foyer. Leicester Comedy Festival Ltd Leicester Comedy Festival Ltd organise the annual Leicester Comedy Festival, which takes place each February. The festival attracts 60,000 people to over 200 events across the city and county. The Guardian cited the event as “one of the top 5 comedy festivals in the world”. The main festival has a sister programme called Make Me Happy which allows for up to 15,000 local people to participate in workshops and events throughout the year.
